The small Chalet in South Tyrol is located on 1.100 m above sea level, far from the regions capital Bolzano and 3 km from the closest village center of Soprabolzano. The adventure starts with the private and small arrival street through the forest (don't worry, reachable with any kind of car).

Start your day with our served breakfast at Chalet Grumer, daily until 10.30 am. A nicely prepared etagere with a selection of Southtyrolean specialities, including fresh eggs from the nearby farm, local crispy fried bacon, natural yoghurt, fresh fruits, healthy juices and more delights.

The Chalet benefits from a breath-taking secluded location on the edge of the forest and enjoying unparalleled views of the Dolomites, part of a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site.

The village of Soprabolzano is 3 km away from Chalet Grumer and it will take you about 10 minutes by car (40 minutes walking distance). In Soprabolzano village, you can board the cable car with panoramic views and which departs every 5 minutes to take just 12 minutes to get to Bolzano city centre. Alternatively, driving to Bolzano takes about 30 minutes. The route takes you along the spectacular winding high plateau roads (20 km), past the abundant grape vines that are so typical of the South Tyrolean region, while enjoying the panoramic views offered by our fabulous mountain scenery.

For those who enjoy motorsports, adventurous excursions and helicopter flights (helicopter landing platform close by the Chalet), your hosts Alexandra and Philip, born and bred in South Tyrol, will be delighted to help you by offering tips for great excursions.

The natural materials and lots of details, selected with much love, grant a pleasant stay. Book directly and receive a complimentary Ritten Card for unlimited free public transport in the region as well as free access to more than 80 museums and castles. The Chalet Grumer Suites & Spa can also be booked exclusively as a holiday home for up to 16 people. Prices are per suite and night with the corrisponding standard occupancy.
