Sweat and relax - what could be better than ending a day of hiking in the sauna? Our steam bath, our pleasant bio sauna and our classic Finnish sauna await you.

Steam bath: relaxation and cleansing

The steam bath offers you soothing relaxation. The high humidity combined with mild heat opens the pores, deeply cleanses the skin and has a liberating effect on the respiratory tract. The warm mist promotes blood circulation and helps to relieve tension.

Bio sauna: gentle relaxation

Our bio sauna provides a gentle sweat cure, harmonising your body and mind with its mild temperatures and soothing fragrances. While classic saunas can reach temperatures of up to 90°C or even more, the bio sauna offers moderate warmth with temperatures between 50°C and 60°C. It is therefore suitable for those of you who find high temperatures too intense or want to immerse yourselves in the world of saunas. It also has a higher humidity level of between 40% and 60%. Your skin and airways will find the combination of mild heat and high humidity very pleasant. Stimulated blood circulation and an increased oxygen supply help your body to detoxify. We add essential oils from herbs and plants to the sauna heater. They vaporise in the warm air and have a wonderfully aromatherapeutic effect. Lavender, for example, helps with relaxation, while eucalyptus refreshes the senses and makes breathing easier.

Finnish sauna: classic Nordic-style relaxation

As the "mother of all saunas", a Finnish sauna is of course a must at Chalet Grumer. Even thousands of years ago, people in the deep forests of Finland appreciated the beneficial effects of sweating. With temperatures of 80°C and 100°C, the Finnish sauna has a very low humidity of around 10% to 20%. This intense heat stimulates your body and dilates your blood vessels. This not only boosts your circulation, but also your metabolism. After an active day, our Finnish sauna is just the thing to relieve muscle tension and eliminate toxins. Experience fantastic infusions with essential oils poured onto hot sauna stones. This short but intense burst of heat disperses the pleasant fragrances throughout the room. This moment of revitalisation awakens your senses and rounds off your sauna experience in our small wellness oasis.

Our Dolomite stone

Our natural stone from the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is not just a visual highlight. It continuously releases minerals that are dispersed in the air in the vapour and are said to be very healthy. Dolomite stones have been known for centuries for their soothing and healing properties. The soft, blue glow of the dolomite stone in the entrance area of our saunas creates a mystical atmosphere and promotes deep relaxation.
