yourself, but also your dogs. Afterwards you will sleep wonderfully in the clear mountain air. Of course, there are also plenty of "leisurely" routes for those who enjoy hiking. Beautiful nature around the Chalet Südtirol - Optimal for hikers and dogs

You know your dog best. But no matter whether you are planning challenging hikes or easy walks - the nature around Chalet Südtirol leaves nothing to be desired. Yes, the garden of Chalet Südtirol invites you to run around, play and romp about. Otherwise, you can start directly from the front door to beautiful hiking and panoramic trails where your dogs can move freely.

The same rules apply as at home. Take your pet's waste with you and dispose of it in the rubbish bins on the hiking trails.

  • Are there any dog-friendly restaurants or cafés near Chalet Grumer?

South Tyrol is generally known as a dog-friendly region. Bolzano and its surroundings offer several restaurants and cafés where you are welcome with your dog. Our number 1 tip is, of course, Pippo's Mountain Lodge at Chalet Grumer. It is only a 5-minute drive from the chalet. If you want to walk, allow about 40 minutes. There are tasty South Tyrolean and Mediterranean dishes for you. And for your dog a stroke and a bowl of fresh water. Take a look at the Schgaguler Schwaige on the Ritten mountain. Convince yourself of the traditional cuisine and rustic atmosphere. Your dogs are also very welcome here. The Café Città in Bolzano is not only known for its excellent coffee and cakes, but also for its friendliness towards four-legged friends. If you are unsure, call the restaurants and cafés of your choice beforehand or ask Alexandra and Philip.

  • What vaccinations or health requirements does my dog need to have in order to come with me to Chalet South Tyrol?

Dogs entering Italy must be vaccinated against rabies. If this is not yet the case, please have your dogs vaccinated at least 21 days before your entry. With a microchip you are on the safe side in case your stray gets lost. Please also bring your dog's valid EU pet passport.
