The small Chalet in South Tyrol is located on 1.100 m above sea level, far from the regions capital Bolzano and 3 km from the closest village center of Soprabolzano. The adventure starts with the private and small arrival street through the forest (don't worry, reachable with any kind of car).
Start your day with our served breakfast at Chalet Grumer, daily until 10.30 am. A nicely prepared etagere with a selection of Southtyrolean specialities, including fresh eggs from the nearby farm, local crispy fried bacon, natural yoghurt, fresh fruits, healthy juices and more delights.
We offer a perfect combination of comfort, tranquillity and nature experience and we also welcome dogs in our chalet!
For our four-legged guests, we are happy to provide a small dog kit consisting of a dog bowl, doggy bag and a blanket, so that you are well equipped to spend relaxing days together. The surrounding forests offer countless opportunities for long walks, where you and your dog can enjoy the fresh forest air and the natural beauty of the surroundings. Your dog will thank you for staying up here in the cool mountain air. Whether you prefer leisurely walks or challenging hikes, you'll find the right route for you.

Chalet Grumer Suites & Spa has a total of 7 spacious rooms and suites starting from 25 m² to 75 m² for a maximum of 16 guests. The alpine interiors meet modern comfort. The natural materials and lots of details, selected with much love, grant a pleasant stay. Book directly and receive a complimentary Ritten Card for unlimited free public transport in the region as well as free access to more than 80 museums and castles. The Chalet Grumer Suites & Spa can also be booked exclusively as a holiday home for up to 16 people. Prices are per suite and night with the corrisponding standard occupancy.

Arriving by car – but how?
Coming from either north or south, the motorway exit “Bolzano Nord” is the right one for you. Follow the brown signs in the direction of Ritten. After about 20 minutes, turn left at a junction towards Oberbozen. Passing Lago di Costalovara/Wolfsgrubner See on your left, you’ll reach the village of Oberbozen, follow the signs in the direction of Maria Himmelfahrt. Continue the last 1,5 km on a private street through an idyllic forest. You will see Chalet Grumer's entrance gate on your left hand side (aprox. 5 min.drive).

We serve breakfast dalily from 8 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., is included in your room rate.

What can I look forward to at the breakfast table?
We serve a diverse continental breakfast of fresh free-range eggs, cold cuts, cheese, homemade jams, mountain butter, muesli, vegetarian treats, fruit juices, delectable baked goods, fruit, and everything you need for the perfect start to your day.

Can I bring my dog with me?
Your furry companion is sure to have fun on your hikes and excursions! Dogs up to a maximum of 30kg are welcome at the chalet on request. Please don’t leave your four-legged friend alone in the room but bring him with you to meals and in the garden – we’d be happy to prepare a comfortable spot by arrangement. We charge an extra fee of 30.00 euros per night (without food).

Trip cancellation – what now?
It’s something we’re all familiar with – that infamous spanner thrown in the works. Cancellations or modifications to the reservation until 60 days before check-in date is 30% penalty (this is the confirmation guarantee deposit and is charged to you credit card at the moment of booking); starting from 59 days before check-in date is 100% penalty.
